We have developed the InSight Pro concept to offer a modern future-ready analyser solution based on the same engine we use and trust in all our Quant solutions. We have taken all unnecessary complexity out of the equation to offer a high-end solution that is easy to buy, install and run for years.

We develop, patent, and produce many different probes and cells which connect to the InSight Pro by means of optical cables to maximise flexibility. This allows us to handle a very broad range of process applications, but the base analyser remains the same.

Optimised sampling solutions

Applying the correct – i.e. representative – sampling is not guaranteed simply by going online. The probes and cells must see the true process variations without bias and sampling error. Equally important is the design of a manual sample extraction point, ensuring the important validation step.

Our probes and cells are all designed to match the highest hygienic requirements, enabling them to sit right in the main process streams.

All the sampling accessories developed by Q-Interline presented below are the result of our extensive experience and knowledge in the field of representative sampling and respect for the Theory of Sampling. 

Transmission Cell Sampling 

The cross-pipe
transmission cells are a series of cells built around a modified sanitary Varinline body. 
The cells are available for all Varinline houses from 1.5” to 6” pipe diameter. 

 
Two sanitary probes samples the process stream in the middle of the stream. The probes are connected to the InSight Pro by means of optical cables of 5-25 meters length. 
The cells offer an inspection port.

Diffuse Reflectance probe sampling 

For in-pipe sampling of homogeneous process streams.
The Diffuse Reflectance Probe is designed to meet all relevant requirements in the life science and food industry. The probe features a sanitary design in accordance with strict industry requirements. The Diffuse Reflectance Probe accepts CIP/SIP and offers high security through a proprietary metal-to-sapphire sealing technique eliminating the need for O-rings and brazed joint. The probe is connected to the spectrometer through a fibreoptic bundle cable, which fulfils all hygiene requirements. The fibreoptic cable is protected for easy placement in cable trays.

Spoon probe Sampling 

For as-easy-as-it-gets powder sampling of fine powders.
The Spoon Probe is a special variant of the Diffuse Reflectance Probe which has been specially adapted to sample fine powders in a falling stream. The sample is collected in the spoon area of the probe and analysed. After analysis the window of the probe and the spoon area is cleaned by means of pressurised air. The probe is connected to the spectrometer through a fibreoptic bundle cable, which fulfils all hygiene requirements. The fibreoptic cable is protected for easy placement in cable trays.

Back-scatter Sampling 

For in-tank sampling of heterogeneous processes.
Monitoring NIR optical backscatter in a tank reveals valuable information which allows for better process control and optimisation. The flush-mounted design makes the Backscatter Probe ideal for complicated products and products which are stirred. The probe features a sanitary design in accordance with strict industry requirements. The Backscatter Probe accepts CIP/SIP and offers high security through a proprietary metal to sapphire sealing technique eliminating the need for O-rings and brazed joints. The probe is connected to the spectrometer through a fibreoptic bundle cable, which fulfils hygiene requirements. The fibreoptic cable is protected for easy placement in cable trays.

Transmission probe Sampling 

For in-tank sampling of clear liquids.
The Transmission Probe is a precision optical instrument that allows remote fibreoptic transmission measurement of clear or slightly scattering liquid process streams at high temperature- and pressure operating conditions. The Transmission Probe accepts CIP/SIP. The probe is connected to the spectrometer through a fibreoptic bundle cable, which fulfils all hygiene requirements. The fibreoptic cable is protected for easy placement in cable trays.

InSightView process screen – an important part of the user experience

We have listened to the operators and designed an intuitive easy-to-read console to be placed right in the process near the operators. Through having real-time data available operators can make better and faster decisions. Behind the easy user interface we run a powerful and highly configurable engine. thus allowing us to accommodate most control and I/O wishes.

We have added features to the front screen supporting the important validation and control procedures needed to run an advanced analyser system to it best performance over the lifespan of the setup.
