Privacy Statement

This Privacy statement was last updated 19 September 2023 and explains how Q-Interline A/S (“Q-Interline”) as the Data Controller complies with the GDPR regulations and laws on data protection. 

Personal data security is important

Personal data security is important to Q-Interline and Q-Interline is responsible for any processing of personal data collected as part of the business operation within the company. Any personal data is solely collected for the given purpose. Q-Interlines aims to give you the best website user experience, customer experience, and support.  

Q-Interline has made technical arrangements and procedures to avoid your personal data being compromised, deleted, lost, published, changed, or misused. 

What is personal data?

Personal data covers all types of data which can be related to you. This includes any information about an identified or identifiable person. An identifiable person means a person who may be directly or indirectly identified, in particular by means of an identifier, e.g., a name, an identification number, or one or more elements that are unique to a given person’s identity.  

Q-Interline only processes personal data collected for a specific purpose and with a legitimate reason at the time of collection. Personal data is not processed longer than required for its purpose. 

Data from website visitors

Like most website operators, Q-Interline collects non-identifying personal data of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available. This includes information such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. The purpose of collecting such personal data is to better understand how visitors use the website. From time to time, Q-Interline may release aggregated non-identifying personal data, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Q-Interline may collect non-personal data for statistics and to learn about our website performance to continuously improve your website user experience.

Our website uses cookies. If visitors accept our cookie-consent, information will be placed (stored) on the visitor’s computer (cookies) to identify and track visitors, their usage of the website, and their website access preferences. See more information in Q-Interline’s Cookie policy.

When filling out a contact form, Q-Interline may collect your contact information with the purpose of contacting you. Personal data is only collected when it is necessary to support you and respond to your inquiry. Q-Interline does not save such data.

When signing up to a subscription of a Q-Interline newsletter, your personal data is stored to be able to send you the newsletter. When un-subscribing from our newsletter this data is deleted. Q-Interline uses Peytz Mail as email-marketing system. 

Customer data

Q-Interline only collects personal data necessary for invoicing purposes and for provisioning of any requested service. The information obtained will only be kept for the period necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship or for legal purposes.  

In connection with e.g., support cases, necessary personal data will be exchanged between Q-Interline and the customer. The personal data exchanged will, in principle, include company name, address, e-mail, telephone number and payment details, and therefore only general personal data will be collected and processed.  

Data storage

The personal data and information collected is stored as long as there is a 1) a legitimate reason, 2) a valid purpose, or 3) for the time period allowed by applicable law. Any personal data will be deleted when it is no longer needed for the agreed purpose. Q-Interline will continuously ensure data quality by correcting any errors in the saved data and will regularly assess whether the processing of the personal data in question is still necessary.

All our data is stored on servers inside EU. 

Data processors

Q-Interline has entered into data processing agreements with several services providing companies, under which they are obligated to act solely on Q-Interline’s instructions and otherwise comply with GDPR requirements in connection with the processing of personal data carried out on Q-Interline’s behalf. 

Your rights regarding the processing of your personal data

If you have any requests or questions regarding your personal data saved with Q-Interline, contact Q-Interline using e-mail info@q-interline.com (please write “GDPR” in the subject line) and we are happy to help. Please note that your request must make it possible for Q-Interline to uniquely identify your data. If the request appears to be unfounded or excessive you may be charged for the task and will receive a justification for the charge. You can unsubscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of the newsletter at any time and then we will delete your data. 

In the event of a breach of the Q-Interline’s personal data security, the Danish Data Protection Agency will be notified without undue delay, and you will be informed unless it is specifically assessed that the breach does not involve any risk to your rights.  

If you wish to file a complaint, this has to be done with the Danish authorities “Datatilsynet” as Q-Interline’s headquarters is in Denmark. The authorities “Datatilsynet” can be reached at www.datatilsynet.dk
