General

Data security is important to Q-Interline. Responsible handling of personal data collected as part of our business operation is crucial to our company and our reputation. 

Personal data covers all types of data which can be related to you, any information about an identified or identifiable person. An identifiable person means a person who may be directly or indirectly identified, in particular by means of an identifier, e.g., a name, an identification number, or one or more elements that are unique to a given person’s identity. 

The processing of personal data is organised in such a way that its scope is limited to the minimum necessary to achieve the specific purpose.  

Q-Interline only process personal data collected for the purpose stated at the time of collection, or purpose deemed compatible with the original purpose.  

Q-Interline will continuously ensure data quality by correcting any errors in the data recorded and will regularly assess whether the processing of the data in question is still necessary. 

Data from website visitors  

When you use our website, we collect a series of data, if you accept our cookie-consent. We collect data about which website pages you visit, if you download documents, sign up for our newsletter, send a contact form etc. We collect data to learn from our users and give you a better user experience. We collect data to contact you, if you requested this by filling out a form or by signing up for our newsletter.  

We collect and handle data such as: 

  • Information about your digital device 
  • Your IP address 
  • Geographical location 
    Pages you have visited 
  • How you entered our website 

Only when you accept by signing up for our newsletter or filling out a contact form, we gather name, email address etc. We only collect the data necessary to support you on your request and respond to your inquiry. 

Customer data

Our customers will only be asked for the information necessary for invoicing and the provision of the requested service. The information obtained will only be kept for the period necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship.  

To ensure data minimisation, in our contact forms we only request the information necessary to accommodate each type of contact or contract, and Q-Interline’s employees are instructed on which personal data should be collected for each occasion.   

In connection with e.g., support cases some personal data necessary will be exchanged between Q-Interline and the customer.  

The data exchanged will, in principle, include name, address, e-mail, telephone number and payment details, and therefore only general personal data will be collected and processed.  

The collection will be for the purpose of effecting delivery and payment in relation to the performance of the individual contract, which will be initiated at the customer’s prior request.  

Q-Interline has set up encrypted e-mail for the purpose of its processing of personal data.  

Data from applicants 

When you apply for a job at Q-Interline you send us personal data included in your CV and application. We handle these data with care and respect and solely for the intended purpose.

Duration of storage

The data and information collected is kept for the durations allowed by applicable law and will be deleted when no longer necessary for the purpose. The duration depends on the nature of the data and may vary.

Third party access to data

Third-party cookies from operators like Google Analytics, WordPress and YouTube are used on the website and as such these parties have access to your data. We do not sell or share your data with third-parties in any other way.

Safety

Q-Interline has made technical arrangements to avoid your data being deleted, lost, published, changed, or otherwise used against the understanding in these terms and in violation of the actual law in power. 

Purpose 

Q-Interline solely collects personal data needed to give you the best website user experience, customer experience, support, or experience as a job applicant. And to be able to send you our newsletter if you signed up to receive it.  

The collected data is stored only as long as we need the data for the stated purpose.  

When signing up to our newsletter, we save your data to be able to send you the newsletter. We use Peytz Mail as our email marketing system.  

Data processors

Q-Interline has entered into data processing agreements with a number of companies, under which they are obligated to act solely on Q-Interline’s instructions and otherwise comply with GDPR requirements in connection with the processing of personal data carried out on Q-Interline’s behalf. 

In the event of a breach of the Q-Interline’s data security, the Danish Data Protection Agency will be notified without undue delay, and you will be informed unless it is specifically assessed that the breach does not involve any risk to your rights.  

The notification to the Danish Data Protection Agency and to the data subject will describe the nature of the breach and will include recommendations to the data subject in order to limit the possible adverse effects. 

Storage of data 

The data and information collected is kept for the durations allowed by applicable law and will be deleted when no longer necessary for the purpose. The duration depends on the nature of the data and the purpose and may vary. 

Q-Interline’s personal data processing is based on the principle of data minimisation, which means that any personal data will be deleted on an ongoing basis if it is specifically deemed that storage does not serve a recognisable purpose. We audit our systems once a year with the aim of deleting unnecessary personal data. 

You can unsubscribe to our newsletter at the bottom of the newsletter at any time and then we will delete your data. 

All our data is located on a server in the EU.

Your rights regarding the processing of your data

You have the following rights regarding the processing of your personal data:  

  • The right to gain access to the collected data  
  • The right to have the collected data corrected  
  • The right to have a copy of the collected data in a readable format  
  • The right to limit the processing of the collected data  
  • The right to have the collected data deleted  
  • The right to withdraw consent  
  • The right not to be the subject of a decision based solely on automatic processing, including profiling  

If you wish to make use of the rights referred to above, contact Q-Interline. As a general rule, your request should be answered within 10 days of the request and no later than one month after receipt. Your request must make it possible for Q-Interline to uniquely identify your data.   

If the request appears to be unfounded or excessive you can be charged for the task and will receive a justification for the charge. 

Objections and complaints

You hold the legal rights to know which information we hold, and handle related to you. You have as well the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If information about you is not correct you have the right to have them corrected or deleted.
